Here are six stocks that made had big news after yesterday’s close and before today’s open.Michael Kors (KORS) – Michael Kors is expected to report revenues of $360.9 million later today. Fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of 16 cents per share are expected. The stock is up 14 per cent in pre-market trading.

Seagate Technology (STX) – David Einhorn made it known that he owns over a 5 per cent stake in the company, after it was already disclosed that he owned over a 3 per cent stake. He is upping his ante, which could move the stock today.

Juniper Networks (JNPR) – Juniper announced a $1 billion buyback. Shares are up 2.1 per cent pre-market. 

Texas Instruments (TXN) – TXN narrowed its second-quarter guidance for the first time in a year. Analysts expect $3.35 billion in revenue while TXN is forecasting between $3.28 and $3.42 billion.

Diamond Foods (DMND) – Diamond Foods is still a potential loser today, after getting crushed to the tune of an 8 per cent loss after announcing it would miss a deadline for audited financial statements. A delisting notice from NASDAQ is expected.

Centene (CNC) – Centene lost 22 per cent after it lowered its 2012 profit outlook by more than $1 per share. The stock could be a big loser again today.
