Recruiters have key skills they look for when recruiting graduates, according to an annual survey of Australian employers.
Graduate Careers Australia, the leading authority on graduate employment issues, asked 241 employers to nominate the three selection criteria they most use when recruiting graduates.

In 2014, communication skills was the most important selection criterion named by 48.6% of graduate employers.
Academic results (24.3%) and teamwork skills (22.4%) came in second and third.
About one-fifth of employers ranked aptitude as a key selection skill followed by interpersonal skills, leadership skills and work experience.
