- There’s plenty to see for adventure seekers in London.
- We tried some of the top experiences, from private flights in classic planes to urban axe throwing.
- Here are our some of our favourites.
Go for a Sausage Walk: Walk through Greenwich Park with over 1,000 dachshunds at London’s Sausage Walk. The first walk took place in September 2017 and the event quickly went viral. The event takes place every 3-4 months and raises money for animal charity StreetVet.
Try urban axe throwing: Whistle Punks is hosting urban axe throwing classes. These sessions teach you how to sling a 14-inch axe at a wooden target. You get 1.5 hours per session and can either throw the axe with one hand or a two.
Book a private tour of London from the air:Wingly is a flight sharing platform which allows hobbyist pilots to share the cost of their flights with passengers. You can book a private flight around the capital or book a day trip.
Go ice climbing: London has its own ice wall and it’s 8 meters high! Vertical Chill is an ice climbing experience in Covent Garden. You can learn the basics of climbing and are given all the necessary equipment, each session costs £50.
Get in a HotTug: This is a floating hot tub boat ride. The water in the hot tub is heated with a wood-burning stove and powered by an electric motor. Each ride lasts around 90 minutes and costs £220 per boat. Each boat can seat up to 7 people.
