The Chinese Stock Market Is Selling Off After The Dismal Manufacturing Report

The HSBC Flash PMI report for China climbed to 47.8 in September but stayed below the all-important contractionary level of 50.

Markets did not like the results. The Shanghai Composite is off about 1.2 per cent on the news.
