Good morning! Here are the plays everybody will be talking about Tuesday.
Rejecting the king. The Cavs have now won five in a row under Tyronn Lue, however, Monday night’s game was less dominating than the previous four. Cleveland needed overtime to down the Pacers 111-106 and the Pacers got to the extra frame with the help of some nifty defence on LeBron James. With James driving to the basket, 19-year-old rookie Myles Turner went up strong and blocked LeBron’s dunk attempt. No fear!
Who needs to make free throws? Andre Drummond is one of the best centres in the NBA, averaging 17.3 points and a league-leading 15.1 rebounds per game. However, he also misses nearly two-thirds (65.4%) of his free throw attempts. This has led to Drummond being the latest victim of the hack-a-whomever defence. But it is hard to intentionally foul a guy when he is getting assists off the backboard from Brandon Jennings and throwing down power dunks. Oh my.
Now this is how to 3-putt. If you are familiar with the world of golf trick shots, then you have probably heard of Kelly Mitchum from Pinehurst Golf Academy. His latest is this 3-putt, which is a heck of a lot better than most 3-putts.
