The Morgan Stanley employee allegedly present when authorities arrested the Upper East Side madam Anna Gristina has been identified as David Walker, a broker in the bank’s midtown offices.Walker hasn’t been charged with any wrongdoing, but DNAinfo went over Walker’s apartment on 55th St. to get his side of the story.
Walker told reporters that contrary to previous reports, he was not there when Gristina was arrested, according to DNAinfo. He also denied having any business dealings with her, alluding to reports that she wanted him to finance an online venture.
But he didn’t deny knowing Gristina—they had met through mutual friends years ago—and called her “the mum next door.”
Walker also said he wasn’t the only one at his bank that knew her.
“She had plenty of other people at Morgan Stanley, I don’t know why they’re talking about me,” he told DNAinfo.
