The Monkees' Davy Jones Dies At 66

Lead singer of the Monkees, Davy Jones, passes away at 66.

The lead singer of the Monkees, Davy Jones, has died.The New York Times reports Jones died of a heart attack in his Indiantown, Fla. home. He was 66.

Jones was part of the monumental Beatles-eque pop group assembled for the television show of the same name. However, the band became quite popular when Neil Diamond and Tommy Boyce wrote songs for the group.  

Among Jones’ hits, he is known for “I’m a Believer,” “It Ain’t Me Babe,” and Rainy Jane.” 

He also guest-starred as himself on a popular episode of “The Brady Bunch.” Watch the clip below.
