The Miami Marlins are doing everything they can to horrify their fan base and the rest of baseball. And it has nothing to do with the team’s roster makeup.
As part of the team’s drastic makeover, the Marlins will play in their new ballpark wearing day-glo orange uniforms, according to the Miami New Times.
Not only that, but their four jersey variations feature multicolored “Miami” and “Marlins” nameplates.
The mock-ups have not yet been confirmed. But if recent history regarding Marlins’ rumours holds true, you will see manager Ozzie Guillen ripping umpires with profanity-laced tirades fully-clad in orange.
This is nearly as comical as their psychedelic drug-looking home run sculpture. Almost.
