It has, for a fact, become a national phenomenon.Originally released in September 2011, “Call Me Maybe” has just recently caught on stateside and is now the number one song on iTunes in the U.S. (and France for good measure). Throughout its run to the top of the charts, “Call Me Maybe” has been covered, parodied, and lip-dubbed too many times to count.
