Global Markets Are Surging As Fiscal Cliff Bill Gets Closer To Passage

UPDATE: As the Fiscal Cliff bill gets closer to likely passage, the Aussie market (one of the few markets that’s trading right now) is at its highs of the day.


Hong Kong is up over 1.2%.

EARLIER: There are very few markets open (Japan/China on Holiday, futures still closed) but one that’s open is Australia.

And so far the Washington theatrics are not a problem.
