The name may be familiar, but you might not know her face.

Deborah Symond, 30, is the daughter of John Symond and heiress to the Aussie Home Loans fortune.

She got married over the weekend to her partner, Ned O’Neill, whose family is in the superyacht brokerage business.

Both are well-known in elite social circles in Sydney and have sizeable followings on social media.

Well done to the happy couple and thanks for a fantastic day! #neborah

Their original plans to be married on the small island of St. Barts in the Caribbean were dashed after the wedding venue was wiped out by Cyclone Irma in September last year, so instead they flew 120 guests to Qualia, a 5-star luxury resort on Hamilton Island, which they booked out entirely for the three-day event.

Symond wore a custom-made Christian Dior haute couture gown that cost $200,000, O’Neill told Private Sydney. It took approximately a year to make.

#neborah ❤️????

They met ten years ago through their fathers who had done business together in the past.
