The ASX accidentally tweeted that the share price of one of the world's biggest mining companies went to $0

Robots are going to put people out of jobs, they say. They’ll be creating content, they say.

Here’s a tweet sent this morning by @ASX, the official account of the Australian Stock Exchange:

You might argue about whether Fortescue, Andrew Forrest’s giant mining company, is good value as a stock at the moment. But at 100% down it’s a bargain in anyone’s language.

The AI revolution is definitely coming, but while we’re waiting, be wary of buying these kind of dips.

(Fortescue is currently trading at $5.32, down a few cents for the day. Also, the ASX has corrected that tweet.)
