The West 9th Street apartment where the Rolling Stones are rumoured to have lived has hit the market for $7.95 million, according to The Real Deal. The apartment was also once owned by famed painter Tony Sarg.

The 17-foot-wide Anglo-Italianate row house has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The five-story townhouse was built in 1853 by Reuben R. Wood. Inside, there’s a whopping nine fireplaces.

Currently a Sotheby's senior vice-president and his wife own the townhouse.

The building can be converted into five apartments, if desired.

The ceilings are more than 12 feet high.

The crown moulding really spices up the place.

The kitchen is small, but seems high-tech.

The living room has access to a patio.

There's a fireplace in practically every room.

This living room is a bit more casual, allowing dining while watching TV.

Those skylights are amazing.

We love the floors in this room.

The fireplaces are beautifully crafted.

Even the vents are classy.

The bedrooms receive a lot of natural light.

You won't feel like you're in the city with this backyard.
