Anheuser-Busch InBev just saw its third bid this month to acquire rival SABMiller rejected.

AB InBev had proposed paying almost $US100 billion, something SABMiller said “substantially undervalues” it.

All’s not lost for AB InBev. The company has the support of SAB Miller’s largest shareholder, Altria, and may yet persuade others to push for a deal.

If a deal does go through at the $US100 billion price, it will be the third-biggest deal by size in history.

Business Insider compiled what are currently the 9 biggest deals in history, based on rankings by Dealogic.
