People across the nation are interested in Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s because of Sports Illustrated cover model Kate Upton. The commercial for the chain’s Southwest Patty Melt is creating a ton of buzz, reports Burger Business.
Here’s some of the metrics tallied since the launch of the ad, according to Burger Business:
- The online-only “director’s cut” version of the commercial has gotten more than 3.6 million views. All four of the videos combined (original, director’s cut and two behind-the-scenes) have amassed 4.5 million views.
- Hardees.com has seen a 104% increase in traffic, and there has been an 83% increase for Carlsjr.com
- Carl’s Jr. And Hardee’s have added upwards of 120,000 Facebook fans
- More than 5,000 tweets have mentioned something involved with the commercial (the brands, Upton, or the Southwest Patty Melt)
