The INSIDER Summary:
• Taylor Swift borrowed Ryan Reynolds’s “Deadpool” costume.
• Blake Lively commented “#HusbandUpgrade.”
Taylor Swift is back to Instagramming all of her big life events, and on Halloween, fans were treated to an inside look at her costume.
Swift, along with a group of friends, shared her Deadpool costume on Instagram with her 92 million followers. But this wasn’t just any old outfit — in a later post, she thanked Ryan Reynolds, the star of the movie “Deadpool,” for letting her borrow the costume.
“Thanks @vancityreynolds for this costume, you’re the BEST deadpool inside contact ever,” she wrote.
Swift is good friends with Reynolds’s wife Blake Lively, who jokingly commented on the picture: “#HusbandUpgrade.”
Reynolds, Lively, and Swift have gotten close after Lively and Swift connected in Australia last year. Lively was there shooting her movie “The Shallows” while Swift was on tour. Lively even attended one of her concerts.
Since then, the singer and the two married actors have spent Fourth of July together and Swift even reportedly visited Lively in the hospital after the birth of her second child. Swift also commented on Lively’s Instagram photo of Reynolds’s 40th birthday “drowning in tears of joy,” so you know these two are no stranger to each other’s Instagram.
Though Reynolds and Lively were not at her Halloween party, Swift did not celebrate alone. Supermodel Gigi Hadid came dressed as a cub scout, Victoria’s Secret model Martha Hunt was Martha Brady, Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello was a “granny with a lost cat,” model Lily Donaldson was a space cadet, model Emmie Gundler was “Black Swan,” and singer Kennedy Raye celebrated her birthday by being a cat.
The only thing left to wonder is if Swift had his costume, what did Reynolds dress up as? We had our hearts set on a full family “Deadpool” costume.
