TAG Heuer is a well known name when it comes to timepieces. Now, the fancy Swiss watchmaker is moving into the smartphone sector with a $6,800 Android called the Link (via The Week).
The phone, which the company is billing as the “first Swiss luxury smartphone,” has a five-megapixel camera, 256MB of memory, and a patented reversible time display unit.
Like TAG watches, it’s also customisable — buyers can opt for gold, calfskin, or alligator back covers.
The $6,800 starting price outpaces most TAG watches, which retail for between $1,000 and $3,000. The Link will be available at retailers starting this month.
