Sydney And Melbourne Ranked In Top 10 World's Most Expensive Cities For Retail Rent

Sydney and Melbourne’s main streets have been ranked in the top 10 most expensive cities in the world for prime rents, according to CBRE data.

The areas surrounding Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall, which are leased for more than $10,500 per square, have come in at No. 6 most expensive while Bourke St shopping district in Melbourne has been ranked 9th at $8800.

Hong Kong has held its title as the world’s most expensive city for global retailers.
