SurveyMonkey has chosen Bill Veghte as its permanent CEO, CNBC reports.
The company’s previous CEO, Dave Goldberg, died while exercising on vacation in Mexico in May. Zander Lurie had been serving as temporary CEO in the interim.
Veghte will take the helm as CEO effective August 3rd.
Veghte previously worked at Hewlett-Packard, where he served as COO and led the company’s enterprise group.
Before HP, Veghte worked at Microsoft for 20 years, focusing on Office and Windows.
The New York Times reported Monday that Goldberg’s widow, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg would be joining the board along with Lyra Health CEO David Ebersman.
