SUPER TUESDAY: Romney Romps To Another Win In Vermont

Vermont was won that Romney was expected to win as a neighbouring state to his own Massachusetts, and one with more moderate and liberal Republicans than conservative firebrands. The results with 29 % of precincts reporting

Romney: 39%

Paul: 25%

Santorum: 24%

Gingrich: 8%

In the CNN exit polls only 26 per cent of primary voters in Vermont described themselves as “born again” or Evangelical Christians. And just 18 per cent described themselves as very conservative.  Those are the two groups of Republicans that Romney has had the most difficulty winning.
