Here's what the cast of 'Suicide Squad' looks like in real life

The highly anticipated “Suicide Squad” will finally be out in theatres on August 5.

A standout element of the film, about supervillains recruited to go on nearly impossible government missions, is its impressive cast, whose members blend so well into their respective roles that you may not even recognise some of the actors. Some are stars (Will Smith) while others may finally become household names (Margot Robbie) after the film’s release.

Check out what the cast of “Suicide Squad” looks like in real life.

Will Smith plays expert marksman Deadshot.

Does he really need an introduction? Smith shaved his head for the film, but grew his hair back in time to take selfies with his loyal fans.

Jai Courtney plays Captain Boomerang, who, as his name suggests, is a boomerang master.

The Australian actor had starred in last year's 'Terminator Genisys.'

Karen Fukuhara plays the sword-wielding Katana.

This is Fukuhara's first film role, and it looks as if 'Suicide Squad' could definitely be her big break.

Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje is unrecognizable as the reptilian Killer Croc.

He could last be seen in the fifth season of 'Game of Thrones' as Malko. He also played Mr. Eko on 'Lost.'

Cara Delevingne is barely recognisable as June Moone, who gets possessed by the mysterious sorceress Enchantress in the film.

The actress first made a splash during last summer's 'Paper Towns.'

Joel Kinnaman will play 'Suicide Squad' leader and military man Rick Flag.

You may recognise the Swedish actor, sans military gear and goatee, from AMC's 'The Killing' as well as 2013's 'RoboCop' remake.

Adam Beach plays Slipknot, an assassin whose specialty involves ropes.

Beach is best known for starring in the war movies 'Flags of Our Fathers' and 'Windtalkers.' He doesn't look too different from his DC Multiverse counterpart.

Margot Robbie plays the first ever film adaptation of fan favourite Harley Quinn.

Since her performance in 'The Wolf of Wall Street' in 2013, Robbie has been on the rise. She previously starred alongside Will Smith in 'Focus.'

Jared Leto plays the next incarnation of the Joker. This heavily tattooed version looks unlike any iteration of the Clown Prince of Crime we've seen on-screen before.

He completely transformed his look to play the Joker -- cutting his long locks, shaving his beard, and changing his hair colour. He got back to his normal look for the 'Suicide Squad' premiere.
