IT'S OFFICIAL: Sony Bought Rights To The Steve Jobs Movie

Sony has bought the rights to Walter Isaacson’s upcoming authorised biography on Steve Jobs, reports The Guardian.The book rights were sold for a seven-figure sum, marking the first time that a movie will focus exclusively on telling Jobs’ story.

The movie will be produced by Mark Gordon, who has previously been involved with Speed, Saving Private Ryan, and Source Code.

The release of Isaacson’s book has been moved forward to October 24.
