Steve Jobs was going to be knighted in England for making iPods and iPhones, but he was robbed of the honour (or honour, we guess) after he snubbed the Labour Party. The Telegraph reports that Jobs’ decision not to speak at a Labour Party conference cost him the honorary title. Gordon Brown shot down the nomination.

On the one hand, we’d like to think he probably doesn’t care about being knighted.  After all, he’s done plenty and had just about every compliment thrown at him possible.

On the other hand, people like getting awards, even, we think, Steve Jobs. Plus Bill Gates is a knight, so he probably wants to be even.

What do you think? Does Jobs care or not? Let us know in the comments.
