There have been rumours for months.

But apparently Steve Cohen is close to signing a deal to take four floors inside the shiny new office building at 510 Madison Avenue, according to The Observer(Via Dealbreaker)

Apparently the fact that a judge just threw out a lawsuit by Cohen’s ex-wife, has pushed up the close-date, which could be just days away.

The lease may also include naming rights to the building.

But the best thing about the space are the amenities — there’s a pool. And there’s a garden terrace and health club and restaurant. But really, the pool is what makes 501 supreme.

As it stands, 510 — which is at 53rd and — has one tenant, Senator Investment Group. The firm set up shop on 28th floor “for a rent above $100 a foot in November,” according to the Observer.

SAC’s home is in Stanford, but the hedge fund also has an outpost just down the road from 510, at 540 Madison.
