Pizza Shop Owner Goes For An Ear In Latest Cannibal Attack

A pizza shop owner joined in on the cannibal trend by chewing off part of a man’s ear during a brawl at a Staten Island diner, the New York Daily News reports.The fight started when Nicholas Cacace decided to change the channel on one of the T.V.s.

This ticked off a former waitress, who called for support, the Daily News reports.

Thomas Tomasello, another patron and a pizza shop owner, came up and began screaming at him. According to the Daily News, Cacace then started taunting Tomasello.

Cacace then went outside for a smoke and Tomasello followed and attacked him, eventually taking a bite out of his ear in, the Staten Island Advance reports.

Tomasello was charged with second- and third-degree assault charges and was released on $1,000 bail. He will reportedly return to court in early August.
