George Soros' former right-hand man is selling his 20-acre estate for $41.43 million

Billionaire trader Stanley Druckenmiller, formerly a top investment strategist to George Soros, has listed his palatial Greenwich, Connecticut, estate for $A41.43 million, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The estate has 12,238 square feet of living space and eight bedrooms in total. It sits on nearly 20 acres and is technically three lots combined into one.

Druckenmiller and his wife are selling the home because they don’t get enough use out of it, listing agent Leslie McElwreath of Sotheby’s International Realty told the Wall Street Journal.

Druckenmiller is also the former president of Duquesne Capital Management, which he founded before joining Soros Fund Management.

Let’s take a look inside the home.

The estate, known as Sabine Farm, was built by publisher H.J. Fisher in 1910.

After Druckenmiller and his wife bought the estate in 2004, they renovated the mansion.

The home has 12,238 square feet of living space.

The dining room is large, with plenty of room to entertain.

The library contains a nine-panel mural depicting the search for the Holy Grail.

The library is actually in a turret located three stories up from the ground floor.

Heavy wooden accents can be found throughout.

The ceilings in some rooms are made with plaster tracery, forming a fancy pattern.

The moulding is also very intricate.

The home contains 11 wood-burning fireplaces.

A fully stocked workout room is also on hand.

There are six bedrooms in the main house in addition to two more in the guest house.

The master's suite has an appropriately large dressing room for her ...

... one for him ...

... and its own home office.

The two-bedroom guest suite is more modest, but it does have its own kitchen.

The home sits on nearly 20 landscaped acres.

A covered porch overlooks the greenery.

A large pool sits out back.
