The relaunch was supported by a star-studded list of investors including Justin Bieber, Ryan Seacrest and Ellen DeGeneres.

How do Hollywood A-listers decide which startups to invest in? And how do founders reach these seemingly untouchable people in the first place?

We asked Stein to spill.

In short, he said he knew people who knew people. Some celebrities he spoke with personally, others he spoke with their managers. But both ways led to money in the bank.
