Bentley’s popular Continental GT was redesigned for the 2011 model year. It maintained the same W12 engine as its predecessor, but there were rumours of a smaller V8 coming to help bring down emissions standards.
The GT V8 was just introduced earlier this year, and the cars are currently incredibly sparse. However, lucky reader Florian from Carstalker actually spotted the convertible in London earlier today.
There are very few ways to discern the V8 model from the W12. The biggest differences are a different front aero treatment, red Bentley badges, and exhaust pipes shaped like the number eight.
This new model is getting rave reviews as a driver’s Bentley. We can’t wait to take a drive…hint.
