Compared to the current BMW 6-series coupe, the early 1990’s 8-series is a totally different animal.
Low and wedge shaped, the 8-series is a more menacing bruiser than the svelte new cars.
Our good friend Ryan Short saw this 1993 850i in Maryland. The 850 has BMW’s big V12 engine and this example looks great with the aftermarket black wheels.
Unfortunately, the 8-series went out of production in 1999. We still think it’s one of the coolest modern BMWs.
