Roger Federer added to his already impressive resume this weekend with his seventh career Wimbledon title, and his 17th career Grand Slam win. But maybe the most impressive aspect of Federer’s career is his incredible consistency in the sport’s biggest events.

When Federer reached the quarterfinals of this year’s Wimbledon, it marked the 33rd straight Grand Slam tournament in which he had reached at least the fifth round. And of those, he reached the finals 22 times.

The last time he lost before the quarterfinals in a Grand Slam was the 2004 French Open in which he was knocked out in the third round.
