A 22-year-old man was the star of the internet yesterday after he climbed a four-storey building in France in just 30 seconds to rescue a toddler dangling off a balcony.

Mali immigrant Mamoudou Gassama will be awarded French citizenship and has been awarded a medal for courage by French president Emmanuel Macron.

People are calling Gassama, who only arrived in the country a few months ago, the “Spider-Man of Paris”.

He has also been offered a position as a fireman.
