Spain scored early and often to beat Italy 4-0 in the final of Euro 2012, the second biggest soccer tournament in the world (click here to see all four goals).
After missing a couple of good scoring opportunities early, Spain used two beautiful passes to set up David Silva in the 14th minute and take an early 1-0 lead over Italy, and then another beautiful pass in the 41st minute set up Jordi Alba. They would then add two late goals by Fernando Torres and Juan Mata to complete the blowout.
Italy had a few good scoring opportunities, but for the most part were bottled up by the Spanish defence.
