Some folks who are obviously upset with Chick-fil-A president and COO Dan Cathy’s stance against gay marriage decided to leave a message on one store, reports Jonathan Floyd at NBC Los Angeles. The vandals painted “Tastes Like Hate” on the Torrance, CA store’s wall parodying the design and font of Chick-fil-A’s marketing slogan, “Eat Mor Chikin.”
“We’re going to get it cleaned up as quickly as possible,” the store’s manager Cole Donahoo told The Daily Breeze. “We hope today is going to be a day as any day is. We look forward to serving our guests.”
Fortunately, there haven’t been any serious incidents at Chick-fil-A stores thus far — just non-violent arguments. There was one bomb threat in West Virginia on Wednesday’s Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day though, which forced a store to close down for a few hours.
