Someone Just Paid Off Their $114K Student Loan Bill In CASH

We’re dying to know the identity of a mystery Canadian who strolled into a Toronto bank Thursday and plopped down a whopping $114,460–IN CASH–to pay off his student loans.

A Reddit user and friend of the well-heeled alum posted a photo of the receipt, along with this vague comment: “Someone I know just paid off their student loan, in full…in cash.”

No kidding.

*UPDATE: We tracked down the student. Find out what happened here.
