Well, that is a nice round number.Social network ad revenues will reach $10 billion worldwide by 2013, according to a new study from eMarketer.
The study anticipates $5.54 billion in spending during 2011 — growth of 55.6% from 2010 — with $8.04 billion the following year and $9.99 billion in 2013.
Facebook will draw “the bulk of these dollars” while LinkedIn gets 3% or a little less than $250 million.
EMarketer predicts ad money spent on social networks will be about 9.4% of the total dollars spent on online ads.
