Six people lost their lives when gunman Wade Michael Page opened fire on a Milwaukee-area Sikh temple.The families and friends have just released the victims’ photos. Among the victims were five men and one woman, with ages ranging from 39 to 84.

What follows are pictures of Sunday’s shooting victims, as well brief biographical details.

The pictures were first brought to our attention by BuzzFeed.

Satwant Singh Kaleka,65, was the president of the Oak Creek temple. FBI agents told his family the man died a hero after he tried to stop the gunman.

Here, Kaleka's son Amardeep Kaleka mourns his father.

Ranjeet Singh, 45, had worked at a local grocery store for 16 years, trying to earn money for his wife and children in India, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Sita Singh,41, had recently moved to the United States to join his brother Ranjeet.

Prakash Singh, 39, was a priest who had recently come to the U.S.

Paramjit Kaur was 41 years old when she died at the temple.

The scene following Sunday's shooting was nothing short of gut-wrenching.
