Officials from the Kemerovo region in Southern Siberia have announced that indisputable evidence has been found pointing at the existence of the fabled Yeti. The Hurriyet Daily News reports that following an expedition organised by the region’s local government in which scientists from all over the world took part, officials are convinced that the big, secretive snowman does have a home in the Siberian forests.
RT reports that scientist found footprints, twig-huts and branches bent and twisted in a way that no human or animal could possibly replicate. The expedition concluded that the Yeti must therefore be inhabiting the region.
The region may now open a research centre to further study the giant snowman, with a local university set to start a journal documenting advances in the science of the Yeti.
