Sheriff's Deputy And Two Others Shot Outside Oklahoma Courthouse

Police say three people, including a sheriff’s deputy and an innocent bystander, were wounded in shootings outside a Tulsa County Courthouse Wednesday afternoon, CBSNews reports.

According to, police spokesman Leland Ashley said officials responded to reports of gunfire exchange around 2:40 p.m. 

Ashley said two deputies, including the one who was wounded, shot the gunman after he walked onto the courthouse plaza and started shooting a pistol.  

According to, one man was taken to the hospital in critical condition and another is in serious condition.  

The suspect was identified by News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright as 23-year-old Andrew Jospeh Dennehy.
