US PMI SLIPS TO 51.1

UPDATE:

OK, here’s one big country with an above 50 PMI.

US just came in at 51,1 according to Bloomberg.

That’s a tad below last month’s 51.5, but not big enough of a deal to really matter either way.

This is an analogue to the official ISM number that comes out at 10:00, except its a new series that’s run by Markit.

The number comes out around 8:58.

Last month was 51.5.
