That’s pretty intuitive. After all, leaders need to be confident.
Rewind 10 or 20 years. Were you as confident as a teenager?
If you’re successful now, then the answer is probably “yes.”
A new study found that teenagers’ self-esteem levels can predict their future salaries. [via Bakadesuyo]
The study, “Self-Esteem and Earnings” from Journal of Economic Psychology, found that poor self-esteem during adolescence is a sign of low future earnings as an adult.
In fact, self-esteem can affect salary as much as cognitive ability.
So kids, if you bomb the SATs, try to stay positive. In a few years, you’ll come out just fine.
