Yahoo’s board is still debating what to do about Scott Thompson in response to the controversy surrounding his resume, but it looks like many of the company’s employees have already passed judgment.Kara Swisher at AllThingsD spoke with some two dozen Yahoo employees over the weekend and found that many are frustrated with the way Thompson and Yahoo have handled the situation so far, to say the least.
As one employee reportedly told Swisher, “From a pure employee perspective, it feels like a violation of their principles. And anyone else would probably be immediately fired for this, even with an explanation.”
To make matters worse, one Yahoo executive reportedly told Swisher that Thompson has refused to even talk about the resume issue in company strategy meetings. “It was the gorilla in the room and it was awkward in the extreme,” the executive told Swisher.
