Larry “The Cable Guy” Whitney sat in for Regis Philbin today — and boy, does he have a Sarah Palin story for you.
The comedian was filming a reality show segment in Alaska when he decided to show up announced at the Palins’ — via author Joe McGinniss’s rental property next door.
As Whitney trolled around Palins’ yard — which was outfitted with plenty of security cameras, he noted — Todd Palin came out.
He explained that Sarah is a “huge fan” of the comedian’s work — but that they had just gotten back from moose hunting (the Palins are nothing if not consistently in character) and she didn’t want to come out with out makeup.
But then Sarah did come out, with her hands over her face, and said: “Larry, I just want you to know I’m a huge fan and I’m going to go leave you a note on your van!”
Then she fled to do just that.
Whitney continued onto Sarah’s parents’ home, where Sarah’s dad endeavoured to prove that Russia can, in fact, be seen from the neighbourhood.
