San Diego Comic-Con is this week!

From July 9-12, over 130,000 fans will head out to the San Diego Convention Center dressed as their favourite pop culture icons, to get exclusive swag, indulge in pop-up exhibits, and for the chance to rub elbows with the stars of some of their favourite movies and TV shows.

Now in its 48th year, one of the biggest draws is getting into one of the two main venues, Hall H and Ballroom 20, where panels for some of the most-anticipated movies and TV shows take place.

Big announcements are expected from Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, “The Walking Dead” crew, and more over the next few days.

Business Insider will be on the ground to take in the entire scene.

What can you expect to hear from SDCC 2015?

Here are the biggest panels we’re excited to see.

Some new footage of 'Sherlock'

When: Thursday 7/9, 3:45 PM PST

It's been well over a year since the third season of 'Sherlock' aired.

If you've been impatiently and anxiously awaiting the fourth season to return in 2016, the panel should hopefully deliver some footage of what to expect along with some long-awaited answers after the cliffhanger season 3 finale.

Did we miss you 'Sherlock'? You bet.

The 'Game of Thrones' panel

When: Friday 7/10, 2:30 PM PST

Is Jon Snow alive or isn't he?

Surely, we won't get any answers to the season five ending; however, the cast and crew will probably divulge on some behind-the-scenes stories and give hints at what's in store for season six.

Maybe we'll even get an update on when the next book, 'The Winds of Winter,' is coming out.

The 'Hannibal' panel

When: Saturday 7/11, 5 PM PST

The critically acclaimed NBC series was recently canceled. Netflix and Amazon have both turned it down for a fourth season.

With hopes for the show's future dwindling, this could be one final hurrah for Fannibals to unite. Who knows, maybe there even find out if their beloved show will live on for a fourth season elsewhere.

At the least, there will probably be some fond memories shared by the cast and creator Bryan Fuller.

'The Walking Dead' season 6 trailer

When: Friday 7/10, 12 PM PST

'The Walking Dead' panel is a fan favourite every year.

Once again, 15 stars from the cast and crew will come out to dish on the new season out this fall while previewing the first footage for season 6.

Among those on the panel will be Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Lennie James, creator Robert Kirkman.

We'll probably learn the exact premiere date for the series' expected October return as well.

'Fear the Walking Dead' footage

When: Immediately following 'The Walking Dead' panel, Friday 7/10, 1 PM PST

After numerous teaser trailers, fans will get their first look at the new series launching in August.

Castmembers Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and more will be on hand to talk about the prequel companion series to AMC's hit zombie series.

We'll most likely get a look at the first trailer to the series as well along with an official launch date for the show.

First footage of the next 'X-Men' film and/or the 'Deadpool' movie

When: Saturday 7/11, 5:45-7:45 PM PST

We already know Ryan Reynolds will be at Comic-Con, so you can almost bet he'll be promoting his anticipated Deadpool film out next February.

20th Century Fox should be showing off a ton of its films during its two-hour Hall H panel ranging from the 'Hitman' and 'Fantastic Four' reboots to next summer's anticipated 'X-Men' followup, 'Apocalypse.'

'X-Men' star Jennifer Lawrence will already be at the convention promoting the final 'Hunger Games' film Thursday, so you can almost bet she'll stick around for Saturday's Fox panel.

Director Bryan Singer also hinted we may be seeing some footage from 'Apocalypse' on Instagram.

Footage from the long-awaited 'World of Warcraft' movie

When: Saturday 7/11, 2:30 PM PST

Back in 2006, Legendary and Blizzard Entertainment announced a 'World of Warcraft' movie.

After nearly 10 years and multiple delays, fans will finally get to see the first footage from the film based on the popular massive multiplayer online (MMO) game which involves humans and orcs.

New 'Batman V Superman' footage

When: Saturday 7/11, 10:30 AM PST

With Marvel sitting out of San Diego Comic-Con this year, Warner Bros. will dominate Hall H Saturday with the cast and crew of next March's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.'

Not only will director Zack Snyder be there, but fans will also get to see Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons, and Holly Hunter.

While WB's lineup will also include looks at two of its next films 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.' (starring Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill) and Peter Pan adaptation 'Pan' featuring Hugh Jackman, we'd be surprised if we didn't see anything for Warner Bros.' other big comic film, 'Suicide Squad,' out next year, too.

A sneak peak at the next 'Star Wars' movie

When: Friday 7/10, 5:30 PM PST

Fans who wait it out all day Friday in Hall H will be in for a treat.

Director J.J. Abrams, screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy will be on hand to discuss 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' in theatres this December.

While reports claim there won't be a new trailer or any clips from the film shown, EW reports other surprises will be in store, too.

Maybe some of those surprises will have to do with the Han Solo spinoff film that was just announced.

Before Comic-Con arrives, relive the best moments from last year.
