Samsung just revealed its answer to Siri which will be a part of the new Galaxy S III.Called “S Voice,” it functions exactly as you’d expect, offering voice-activated control of your music and phone calls.

You can get the weather and manage your calendar.

You can even turn on your phone by saying, “Hi Galaxy.”

During the demo, we saw that you can activate the camera app by saying, “I want to take a picture.”

Samsung appears to be ready to market around “S Voice,” because it calls the S III a “human phone that understands you.”

The funny thing about this is that Siri isn’t all that great. Anecdotally, we get the feeling people aren’t using it.
