Salesforce sinks after second quarter earnings announcement

Salesforce reported its Q2 earnings for fiscal year 2018 on Tuesday.

The company reported:

  • Revenues (GAAP) — $US2.56 billion in revenues compared to analyst estimates of $US2.51 billion.
  • Earnings per share (adjusted) — $US0.33 earnings per share, compared to analyst estimates of $US0.32.

Despite the beat on the top and bottom lines, Salesforce’s stock was off nearly 3% to $US90.19 a share in recent after-hours trading.
