Oscar viewers weren’t the only eyes Sacha Baron Cohen caught Sunday night at the Academy Awards.
Paramount Pictures has signed “The Dictator” star and his film company Four By Two Films to an exclusive three-year first-look deal, according to Deadline. The studio will have first dibs on any films produced by Cohen.
In addition, the deal will also give Cohen funds for new projects.
This comes on the heels of Cohen’s red carpet shenanigans where he dumped supposed ashes of Kim Jong Il all over Ryan Seacrest‘s tuxedo.
Brad Grey, Chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures said the following:
“Sacha is a comic genius. A wildly talented writer, actor and filmmaker. Beyond that, he is the rare global comedy star. On behalf of all of us at Paramount, we welcome Sacha and look forward to The Dictator and many more great pictures for years to come.”
So, ready or not, prepare for more of Cohen’s antics.
