“American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest has a new clothing line set to debut at Macy’s that uses a colour-matching system to help men pair dress shirts to trousers and ties.
The system uses numbered tags that indicate a colour family, “so men can look at the number and be confident that if they wear all 1s, everything will match, for example, or get information that a 1 might also work with a 2,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
Seacrest apparently uses a similar colour-coding technique in his own closet.
“In his closets, each suit is on a hanger with a tie and a pocket square in the jacket pocket, and shoes for each outfit sit nearby,” the Journal’s Ray A. Smith writes.
“I coordinate everything ahead of time,” Seacrest told Smith.
The menswear line, called “Ryan Seacrest Distinction,” includes suits, tuxedos, dress shirts, belts and ties. Prices will range from $US45 for belts to $US550 for a suit.
