It’s a problem most of us can only dream of.Cosmetics magnate Ronald Lauder’s Wainscott property is so expansive that a squatter has apparently been living there all summer, and Lauder’s had no idea (NY Daily News via Guest of a Guest).

A tipster told the NYDN that a “resourceful gentleman has been furtively making camp on one of the many, many acres the cosmetics baron and billionaire philanthropist owns around Wainscott Pond” and spending his days lolling on the beach.

Lauder, who owns several Hamptons properties, sold a 2.77-acre plot in Wainscott to his daughter Aerin for $5.3 million in 2009.
