This 80,000-pound road zipper truck can reconfigure highways in seconds

The Road Zipper is a machine that reconfigures major roadways on the fly by picking up the concrete median and putting it back down one lane over. The system comes from Lindsay Transportation Solutions, and is designed to let cities add or subtract lanes depending on traffic patterns.
