Millionaires, make some room on your bar – the famed French house of Rémy Martin has just unveiled its latest luxe offering, the Louis XIII Le Jeroboam, in Paris.Limited to just 100 bespoke decanters priced at about $23,000 apiece, the Le Jeroboam is filled with the renowned Louis XIII blend of over 1,200 fine and rare cognacs from the famed Grande Champagne region.
The capacity of each Le Jeroboam is three litres, which is four times the volume of the regular Louis XIII decanter.
Le Jeroboam also comes with a pipette, the working and tasting tool of Rémy Martin cellar masters.
The decanter, which weighs in at 11 pounds, was created by France’s storied Cristallerie de Sèvres and is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, designed to pay tribute to the greatest moments of the 20th century.
The decanter comes protected in a brass-bound wooden case or coffret, and is accompanied by four custom-made crystal glasses made by designer Christophe Pillet.
The Louis XII blend displays an extraordinary finesse and opulence. flavours of everlasting flowers and iris play with fig and prune, which in turn evolve to sandalwood and honey.
